Mark Philippi, CSCS

Mark is a nationally recognized Strength and Conditioning Coach who has 20 years experience and has helped over 5,000 college and professional athletes of all types achieve their sports performance goals.
An accomplished strength athlete, Mark won the National and World Drug Free Powerlifting Championships in 1996, won America’s Strongest Man title in 1997, has appeared on the World’s Strongest Man television Show seven times, traveled the world and competed in over 100 international strongman shows.
Mark has written or appeared in Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, the New York Daily News, Las Vegas Life, Powerlifting USA, Milo Magazine, Muscle and Fitness. Mark has lectured all over North America on coaching, motivation, strength training and conditioning. Mark has been a college instructor and created strength and conditioning academic track at UNLV.
Athletes who have trained under his direction include Jason Giambi, Montell Griffith, Mike Wahle, Shawn Marion, Marcus Banks, Jon Drummond, Sam Brandon, Mike Flanagan, Lori Harrigan, Chris Byrd, Kylie Wong, Joe Hawley, Frank Mir and Renaldo Wynn.
Tracey Philippi, BSN RN, AFPA, FLT
Owner
A registered nurse with 12 years experience in the cardiac field Tracey directs the cutting edge nutritional, supplementation and wellness programs at PSI. Tracey is certified in First Line Therapy (FLT) and utilizes several Blood/Hormone/Allergy tests to investigate nutritional deficiencies present in the body. Tracey has an extensive background in athletics and has been inducted into the prestigious Butte Central HS Hall of Fame with the likes of Coaches Jim Sweeney and Sonny Lubick.

Alonzo Freeman, CSCS, NASM, MS
Facility Director
Alonzo is responsible for the daily operation of the PSI facility and keeping PSI on the cutting edge of training. His background combines a wealth of both athletic and academic experience and knowledge. Alonzo was a standout UNLV linebacker and an exceptional student earning both his BS and MS in kinesiology at the university.

Dr. Aric Cruz, DC, CSCS
Director of Therapy Clinic
Dr. Aric Cruz directs the therapy clinic at PSI. Dr. Cruz has experience treating athletes of all ages and experience levels. In addition to treating collegiate athletes at Stanford and UNLV, Dr Cruz has treated athletes from: MLB, NBA, NFL, CFL, AFL, NHL, PGA, MMA, boxing, Olympic teams, and International Strongman Competitions. A Chiropractic Physician and a Certified Strength coach Dr. Cruz utilizes many recovery techniques in his practice and is level 2 certified in SCENAR therapy.

Mike Tran, CSCS
Performance Coach
Mike has been with PSI since its grand opening. He has a wealth of knowledge in both training athletes and general population clients. Mike earned his BS in kinesiology on 2007.

Pierre Ngo CSCS
Performance Coach
Pierre is an accomplished powerlifter who began his strength coaching career at UNLV and has been with PSI since 2009. Pierre trains both adult and youth athletes.

Jessie Woodruff CSCS
Performance Coach
Jessie has been with the PSI since 2007. Jessie has his BS in Kinesiology form UNLV and in addition to training athletes he helps to coordinate the general populations program and offsite training programs.

Kenny Womack
First Line Therapy Specialist
After spending nineteen years in the Pharmaceutical Business, Kenny was brought on board to oversee and market our First Line Therapy nutritional Program. Kenny also coordinates staff education in regards to nutrition and supplementation.
