Mark Philippi, CSCSMark is a nationally recognized Strength and Conditioning Coach who has 20 years experience and has helped over 5,000 college and professional athletes of all types achieve their sports performance goals.
An accomplished strength athlete, Mark won the National and World Drug Free Powerlifting Championships in 1996, won America’s Strongest Man title in 1997, has appeared on the World’s Strongest Man television Show seven times, traveled the world and competed in over 100 international strongman shows.
Mark has written or appeared in Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, the New York Daily News, Las Vegas Life, Powerlifting USA, Milo Magazine, Muscle and Fitness. Mark has lectured all over North America on coaching, motivation, strength training and conditioning. Mark has been a college instructor and created strength and conditioning academic track at UNLV.
Athletes who have trained under his direction include Jason Giambi, Montell Griffith, Mike Wahle, Shawn Marion, Marcus Banks, Jon Drummond, Sam Brandon, Mike Flanagan, Lori Harrigan, Chris Byrd, Kylie Wong, Joe Hawley, Frank Mir and Renaldo Wynn.

Tracey Philippi, BSN RN, AFPA, FLTTracey has over 20 years of combined experience in the health, wellness, cardiac rehabilitation, and sports nutrition. Tracey directs the nutritional and functional lab testing programs utilized by the athletes at PSI. Tracey has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she is AFPA certified in Cardiac Rehabilitation/Special Population training, and is a certified First Line Therapy (FLT) practitioner. When designing nutritional programs, she utilizes the Metagenics FLT program, micro-nutrient testing, as well as several other blood/hormone/allergy tests to detect any nutritional deficiencies or hormone imbalances that can adversely affect athletic performance training.

Alonzo Freeman, MS, CSCSFacility Director
Alonzo is responsible for the daily operation of the PSI facility and keeping PSI on the cutting edge of training. His background combines a wealth of both athletic and academic experience and knowledge. Alonzo was a standout UNLV linebacker and an exceptional student earning both his BS and MS in kinesiology at the university.

Dr. Aric Cruz, DC, CSCSDr. Aric Cruz directs the therapy clinic at PSI. Dr. Cruz has experience treating athletes of all ages and experience levels. In addition to treating collegiate athletes at Stanford and UNLV, Dr Cruz has treated athletes from: MLB, NBA, NFL, CFL, AFL, NHL, PGA, MMA, boxing, Olympic teams, and International Strongman Competitions. A Chiropractic Physician and a Certified Strength coach Dr. Cruz utilizes many recovery techniques in his practice and is level 2 certified in SCENAR therapy.

Mike Tran, CSCSMike Graduated from UNLV with a degree in kinesiology in 2007. Mike has been with PSI since its Grand Opening and was a valuable asset getting the business started. In addition to training both athletes and active adults, Mike coordinates PSI signups and billing.

Manny Rodriguez, USAWAfter graduating from UNLV with a kinesiology degree, Manny began his Strength and Conditioning career at PSI in 2008 as an intern assistant before accepting a position at Arizona State University in a similar capacity. At the completion of his internship at ASU Manny landed a Graduate Assistant position at UTEP overseeing the training programs for many of the university’s athletic teams in addition to assisting with the football team’s athletic development. Upon completion of his Graduate Assistantship at UTEP Manny came back to PSI in the summer of 2010.

Ryan LammleRyan graduated from UNLV in 2010 with a degree in University Studies with an emphasis in Kinesiology. Previously Ryan spent 2 years playing football at Saddleback JC before enrolling in UNLV. Ryan started in the summer of 2010 as an intern while finishing his degree and has advanced to performance coach. He specializes in training our younger athletes.
